Utility bills are always due on the 15th of each month. If the 15th of the month falls on a weekend, customers are allowed to make payments without penalty until the following Monday at 5:00 p.m.
What are the penalties added to my account if I pay my bill late?
If payment is not made by the due date at close of business, a late fee of 10% will be applied to each account. If not paid by the 25th of each month a $10 penalty will be applied and Customers will be sent a notice telling them the date of disconnection for non-payment.
I’m moving into town, what is the process I will need to complete to sign up for utility services?
New customers will need to come to City Hall at 109 E. Broadway to fill out a Residential Service Contract and pay a deposit on services. The deposit for Residential services is $90.00, for Residential Rental and Commercial property is $150.00. To have services established the same day the customer must be in by 3:00 p.m. If in after 3:00 p.m. services will be established the next business day.
